If your kids love to build stuff and love Marvel Avengers make sure to check out the Lowe’s Build and Grow summer series. This summer Lowe’s has dedicated their Build and Grow summer series to all things Marvel.  We just attended Iron Man’s Avenjet build with our two boys and they loved it. They each received the Iron Man wooden plane kit, an apron, safety goggles, a kid sized hammer, a certificate and a patch. Our store had it outside, under the covered commercial entrance which was nice because I can’t imagine that many banging hammers inside. They had stacks of wood set up as “tables” for everyone to work on.  The kids put on their aprons, goggles and got to work.  Our 7 year old really go into it, and since he has been working with legos a lot, it was pretty easy for him to follow the instructions with minimal help from dad.  Our 4 year old just had fun being there. He really wasn’t able to do the build, but he got to hold the hammer, find the pieces and enjoyed it just as much as his brother.  They had so much fun that they have been asking when they could go back. Make sure to register on-line to ensure your spot. Build and Grow Clinics are free to the public and occur select Saturdays at 10am.
